National examination students across various schools in Kisumu County have benefited from food donations from the office of Kisumu Senator Professor Tom Ojienda.
The gesture is aimed at feeding the candidates sitting for this year’s national examinations to enable them to concentrate and excel in their tests.
The County Manager in the office of the Senator, Dr. Simon Peter, speaking on behalf of Prof Ojienda during the distribution exercise said the initiative seeks to ensure that learners are motivated and focused as they undertake their exams.
“This support ensures that our children are well-nourished and focused as they write their exams,” he stated adding the office of the Senator is committed to assisting examination candidates with the resources they needed to succeed.
Dr. Peter emphasized the importance of community support in nurturing learners’ potential. “It’s our responsibility to stand with them, ensuring they are supported, focused, and ready to succeed in life,” he added.
