The Ministry of Education has finally posted a new principal to Kisumu Boys High following the sudden death of the former head, Mr. Peter Obwogo.
Erick Duya, a Deputy Principal at the institution has been acting on the position pending the substantive appointment of the head of the school.
The new principal Mr. Duncan Owiyo Otieno reported to the school and promised to take it to the next level.
Mr. Otieno was the principal of Chulaimbo secondary school until his new posting.
He has previously headed several schools in the Nyanza region before being posted to Chulaimbo.
Mr. Otieno said he is working on a strategic plan for the school which will be used to improve the general performance of the learning institution.
Your first strategic plan is to relocate that school to its new proposed site.
We’re in 21st C. & things have changed, education systems must follow suit or become obolete.
