Kisii: Your days are numbered, County Commissioner to civil servants with fake certificates

Kisii County Commissioner Tom Anjere has put on notice people who are using forged academic certificates to secure employment.

The administrator said such people are a deterrent in public service delivery because of their incompetency.

“If you possess academic certificates that you bought to help you secure employment surrender yourself to my office because we shall catch up with you.” He said

The Commissioner was speaking to the public at Kenyenya Sub County on Thursday during the routine inspection of development projects.

He said his office had numerous complains on workers who were under-performing in the civil service within Kisii County.

The administrator said education had no age limit and asked those who would like to acquire genuine academic certificates to register in any of the many learning institutions in Kisii and study.

He lauded President Ruto for Commissioning the Open University of Kenya (OUK) saying it will increase the opportunities of acquiring knowledge and skills.
