Kisii County Director of Education, Philip Chirchir, has officially opened the Term Two Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) ball games, urging all participating teams to uphold peace, discipline, and integrity throughout the tournament.
Speaking at Nyachogochogo AIC Secondary School in Nyamache Sub-county during the opening ceremony, Chirchir emphasised the importance of fair play, warning that schools found fielding non-students or ineligible players would face strict disciplinary action.
“We will not tolerate cheating. Any school found guilty of presenting imposters will be suspended and may face a permanent ban from inter-school competitions,” he warned.
