Kiendege High to host Manga School in Nyamira sports tournament as teams gear up for big clash

Kiendege Secondary School will host Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association competitions for Manga Sub County, in Nyamira County in this term

According to official report seen by Education News the ball matches are scheduled on June 12and Friday June 13.

“We organized for both boys’ and girls’ teams in pools for easy control and management of student crowds and public sports lovers,” said a games teacher identified as Peter Masterwork.

St. Pauls Gekano Boys and Nyaisa will play at pool A while Gesure and Mokomoni will meet at pool Kiendege School.

In their soccer competitions, Tombe girls are prepared to confront Kiendege and Sengereri at pool B as each team will compete with vigor to enable them gain a ticket to proceed to County championship competitions.

Geke Nyachichi and Nyaikuro will meet at Nyaikuro secondary school.

The boys of Geke,Kiendege and Nyaukuro will meet at pool A in Nyaikuro secondary school for volley ball as their colleagues from .St Pauls Gekano,Ikonge and Gesure will assemble at Gekano school to stretch their muscles competitively for sub county sports superiority.

Other teams that will feature in the Manga sub county inter secondary schools sports competition are Kiabiraa, Nyachichi,Tombe and Nyaikuro.

According to the conveners, those teams that will emerge as number one winners from each pool, will meet those who will win as number two winners from each pool as number three winners from each and number three winners from each pool will meet with number one winners from each pool to determine the final qualifiers.

St.Pauls Gekano boys will be the only institution to host teams involved in Badminton competitions because the available sport’s facility while Nyambaria will host teams playing in lawn and table tennis.

Speaking to teachers in a different forum Nyamira County Director of Education Joshua Kega asked teachers to guide learners to maintain discipline by avoiding any emotional incitement from public match spectators during the competitions.
