The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has invited interested, competent and eligible publishers to bid for publishing of Grade 9 Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) learning materials.
The bidding will be for the following core subjects; English, Kiswahili, Kenya sign language for the deaf, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Health Education, Pre-Technical and Pre-Career Education, Social Studies, Religious Education, Agriculture, Life Skills and Sports and Physical Education.
For the optional subjects, bids have been invited for; Visual and Performing Arts, Computer Science, Foreign Languages (German, French, Mandarin, and Arabic), Kenya Sign Language and Indigenous Languages.
However, applicants have been advised not to bid for Business Studies and Home Science subjects.
