Kericho TTI principal lauds gov’t on RPL program

Kericho Technical Training Institute Principal Shaddrack Tonui has lauded the government’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program.

Tonui observed that RPL will help bridge the certification gap for skilled individuals without formal academic qualifications.

Speaking to the press recently, the principal said the RPL program will ensure that thousands of talented Kenyans who have acquired technical skills through informal means finally get the credentials they deserve.

“The RPL policy is a game-changer. It acknowledges skills gained outside formal education and will empower many skilled individuals,” said Tonui.
