Teachers across Kenya are set to explore a new frontier in classroom creativity and efficiency during the upcoming InnovatED 2025: Empowering Innovation webinar, hosted by Metis and Amal Labs.

The virtual training, scheduled for November 12, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (EAT), will equip educators with practical skills to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into lesson planning and assessment creation.

The session, themed “Create CBE Schemes of Work Using AI,” aims to help teachers reimagine their classrooms through the Metis way of human-centered design and the Amal Labs AI platform. Organizers say the training will focus on how teachers can harness AI to design engaging, Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC)-aligned lessons and assessments in just minutes — giving them more time to focus on learners’ growth.

“What if you could bring creativity back into your teaching without adding more to your plate?” reads the event’s invitation, capturing the spirit of the program. The webinar promises to provide educators with hands-on guidance, live demos, and free resources to help them teach smarter, not harder.
