The 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) written examinations began smoothly Monday morning across Mandera County, where 6,445 candidates are sitting for the tests.
The county joined the rest of the nation as candidates settled in for their first written papers, marking a key phase in the national assessment calendar.
Exam containers were opened precisely at 7:00 a.m., under the close supervision of education officials, security personnel and representatives from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) to ensure transparency and uphold the integrity of the process.
Each step, from the unsealing of containers to the delivery of exam materials, was carefully coordinated to guarantee fairness and credibility.
