Candidates in Lamu County who will sit the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education ( KCPE ) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education ( KCSE ) have been urged to study extra hard.
Speaking to Education News from his office in Faza town recently, Lamu East Sub County Director of Education in Lamu County David Kambi told candidates in the region to study extra hard in a bid to excel in their national examinations.
He said that this time round there is no cheating in national examinations and the surest way of excelling in national examinations is studying hard.
The sub county director of education urged parents to encourage their children to study hard, saying there is no shortcut in passing national examinations.
Kambi also warned students and teachers against exam cheating.
