Kakamega High School is setting the stage for a strong showing in this year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, with an ambitious target of a 9.48. mean score.
Speaking to Education News, Chief Principal Dr. Julius Mambili confirmed that 668 candidates have registered for the national exams and expressed confidence in the school’s preparation and performance strategy.
“Our academic systems are solid, and we have put everything in place to ensure success,” Dr. Mambili said. “The 9.0 mean score is not just a target; it’s a statement of intent.”
In addition to academics, the school is also making strides in co-curricular development. Dr. Mambili revealed that Kakamega High is reviving its once-dominant sports programs.
