Kakamega School have been crowned the Allan Bradley Opens Rugby Fifteens champions after edging out Bokoli Boys High School in a tightly contested and nerve-wracking final that lived up to its billing.

The Kakamega School sealed the title with a narrow 5–3 victory, in a match that was defined by discipline, tactical awareness and sheer defensive grit from both sides. The low-scoring affair kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle, with neither team willing to concede an inch.

Kakamega School drew first blood in the opening half, capitalising on sustained pressure deep in Bokoli territory. Bokoli Boys, known for their physical approach and structured play, responded with renewed intensity in the second half. Their persistence paid off when they slotted in a penalty to narrow the gap to 5–3, igniting hopes of a comeback. However, Kakamega’s defence stood firm under mounting pressure, repelling wave after wave of Bokoli attacks in the closing stages.

The final minutes were marked by high tension, with Bokoli pushing hard for a winning score while Kakamega relied on composure, game management and solid tackling to protect their slim lead. When the final whistle blew, it sparked jubilant celebrations from Kakamega players, technical bench and supporters who had travelled in large numbers.
