Kajiado County’s triplets named Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego shinned in the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams released Monday, March 28.

The three who managed to score 412, 401 and 408 marks respectively were candidates at Iltilal Primary School, a day school in Oloitoktok, Kajiado South Constituency.

The pupils lived faithful just like the three characters in the Bible who were hardworking and had faith in God.

Their father Mzee Solonka ole Marua said they expected good performance from them but never thought they would score above 400 marks. The father added the boys have been displaying exemplary performance throughout their schooling.

“We expected them to pass since they are performers but we did not expect such good marks” said Ole Marua.

The three, during their studies had to move to the head teacher’s premises to make it easier for them to report to school on time during the examination period.

They have appealed to Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha to allow them to be enrolled in same secondary school to continue with their good performance. They want to join Nakuru Boys High School.

Kajiado County is among counties that have produced top students nationally, the second student Shantel Ndida Muteti is from Kitengela International School, while the top candidate Bruce Mackenzie Magata of Gilgil Hills Academy is a resident of Tuala Oloosirkon Kajiado East.
