The Kaimosi Friends University is gearing up to host its 2nd Innovation Week from March 25th to 27th, 2026, in an ambitious initiative aimed at fostering innovation, research, and community engagement.
The event will focus on the theme “Innovating for Sustainable Development & Societal Impact,” highlighting the university’s commitment to addressing pressing societal challenges through creativity and applied research.
According to the organisers, the three-day event will feature a comprehensive program designed to showcase the university’s research and innovation ecosystem.
“Participants can expect innovation and technology exhibitions, research and innovation showcases, and presentations of student and staff innovations. These activities are intended to highlight the breadth and depth of creative solutions being developed within the university and demonstrate the potential of these ideas to influence sustainable development locally and nationally.”
Industry and community engagement will also form a key part of the program, offering participants the opportunity to explore how research and innovation can be applied to solve real-world challenges.
Additionally, they revealed that a public lecture will provide attendees with insights into emerging trends in innovation, sustainable development, and the role of higher education in promoting societal impact.
