Kabarak University has launched a comprehensive Chinese Language Teaching programme in partnership with Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU).

The programme is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions signed in April this year.

Kabarak University Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Henry Kiplang’at made the announcement during a visit at NAU in Beijing after engaging in discussions with counterparts at the university.

Under the agreement, both universities have committed to fostering the Chinese language and culture at Kabarak University. The programme will be supported by NAU’s Confucius Institute hosted at Egerton University.

The support includes providing an approved Chinese language curriculum, necessary teaching materials, HSK tutorship, mock tests, and opportunities for students to participate in various cultural activities organized by the Confucius Institute.

Furthermore, NAU agreed to facilitate Chinese cultural activities at Kabarak University and communicate relevant opportunities for studying in China.
