A total of 20 students of the Kitui Town-based Jubilee College graduated during the school’s second graduation ceremony on Friday, December 5, 2025.

The General Overseer of Jesus Christ Army Ministries, Bishop Paul Makau, was the chief guest at the function, which was attended by hundreds of people, including parents, students, and guardians.

The twenty graduands, eleven females and nine males, were awarded diplomas and certificates by the college management.

“It is my honour and privilege to address you today on this momentous occasion, the graduation of a new generation of leaders, innovators and professionals. Today we celebrate not only academic achievement but the dedication, resilience and growth that each of you has demonstrated through your journey,” the Jubilee College Principal, Hillary Musyoka, said in his speech.

As your principal, I am immensely proud of your accomplishments. But remember the graduation is not an endpoint-it is a beginning. The knowledge, skills and values you have acquired here are tools to help you navigate the complexities of life and make meaningful contributions to society. Be courageous in pursuing your dreams, innovative in your thinking and steadfast in your commitment to integrity and excellence, he added.

“To the families and friends gathered here today, thank you for your unwavering support. Your encouragement and sacrifices have played an essential role in shaping these graduates into the individuals they are today,” the teacher also said.

“Graduates, as you receive your certificates and step forward to the next chapter of your lives, carry with you the pride of accomplishment, the confidence to face new challenges and the humility to continue learning. The world is waiting for your talents, your ideas and your leadership,” the college chief added.

The principal disclosed that Jubilee College was started in 2013. He also disclosed that the college currently has 300 students and 20 tutors.

On behalf of the entire institution, I congratulate each of you. May your journey ahead be marked by success, fulfilment and the pursuit of excellence. Thank you and congratulations to the class of 2025, Hillary Musyoka said.

Addressing the occasion, the chief guest, Bishop Paul Makau, said: “Today marks a significant milestone in your lives as students and the start of a new dawn, equipped with knowledge, skills, new experiences and long-lasting memories from your time at this great college, Jubilee.  Today marks another milestone in the history of our college”.

“We are celebrating life and excellence.  We are celebrating hard work and honesty.  We are proud to have reached this graduation with dedication and hope.  We have hope before now and also in the future. As a college community, we would like to thank God in a very special way for guiding and protecting all our students and our staff through our studies here,” he added.

“I strongly believe in the students we have trained that they can fit in any society, but also have a worry that they need a change of attitude as immediately as possible,” Makau, who is an agriculturalist by profession, added.

Finally, as I end my speech, remember that as we gather here today, we celebrate not only our academic accomplishments but also the journey of our growth, perseverance and discovery that brought you to this joyous moment. Congratulations to all of you, Bishop Makau said.
