St. Gloria Academy Nyamonye is the pride of Bondo and Rarieda sub counties as the school broke records and produced the highest numbers of candidates with 400 marks and above in the 2022 KCPE examinations.

In the just released results, out of the 39 candidates who sat for the examinations, 15 candidates scored 400 marks and above.

The school also recorded an improved mean score of 396.48 up from the 2021 mean of 361 (positive deviation of 35.46) as the least student scored 349 marks.

Top candidate Ashley Ruth got 412 marks followed by Sarah Pauline who garnered 410 marks. Others are Phenzer Jeryl (409), Lorette Mwajuma (407), Jane Margret (405), Onyango Barrack (402) among other top performers.

Manager James Juma Odhiambo while congratulating the candidates for the impressive show attributed their success to the hard work, discipline and determination of the candidates who were keen on taking instructions from the teachers.

“We are proud as a school to have broken our own record and become the top school in Bondo and Rarieda sub counties. In fact the performance of this school is obviously one of the best in this region. We acknowledge the sacrifices of our teachers who have always exhibited high degrees of zeal in their call,” Juma stated.

The manager acknowledged the support and guidance of the school Director Samson Tembe whom he disclosed is always keen on the plight of learners and would go any extra mile to ensure they are accorded the best attention.

“Our sustained improvements over the years can only be attributed to the visionary patronage of the school Director. Teachers and the learners alike find purpose to do good work because the Director has availed all that we want and we appreciate him pretty much for the good heart,” he noted.

School Head teacher Martha Otieno is confident of an even better performance next year. She noted the heightened academic improvement tools at the school which will enable them scale to even greater heights.

“As a trendsetter in this region, we are prepared properly for the Junior Secondary School and we have the best facilities for the new classes including qualified teachers to handle the curriculum,” she pointed out.

She also appreciated the parents who have continued to support the school and heeded to calls whenever need arose.
