Tente Primary School in Nyamira County is celebrating a new era of convenience and safety after receiving clean water courtesy of businessman Rodgers Moturi Ong’era and his friends.
The rescue comes after the school struggled with water crisis for long, forcing pupils to fetch it from town, exposing them to potential dangers.
Matson Akombe, a parent, expressed relief saying that the habit of pupils fetching water in town has now stopped and their safety renewed.

Moturi accompanied by Nyamira Township Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Duke Masira, urged individuals and organisations to invest in education by sponsoring bright children from poor family background to access quality education.
He emphasized that supporting education is a collective responsibility and communities should not rely on government aid alone.
“The government alone can’t do everything; we must chip in our small ways for the country’s prosperity.” He said.
He encouraged leaners and students to remain discipline as they work hard towards their academic goals.
