Isiolo aspirant promises to uplift education if elected

By John Majau

Isiolo North MP aspirant Lucy Mworia has called on parents to take good care of their children and be there for them during the holidays.

Speaking when she attended Grade 2 graduation for Loreto and Divine academies, Ms Mworia called for the total commitment of parents to their children and not to delegate them to domestic workers.

Moved by the children’s recitals that called for love, care and availability of parents, she advised parents not to be glued to their phones but spare time to bond with them.

She expressed the need to support education through bursaries and construction of educational facilities, among other things.

“Our children need bursaries and good classrooms. These are some of the things that should have been done by the area MP. I want to do all these for you,” Ms. Mworia said.

She implored residents to support her political bid and give her a chance to do what others had failed to do.
