Leaders from Nyaribari Chache and Masaba constituencies have agreed to work as a team and support education growth and other development projects in the region.

In a thanksgiving prayer for Kisii County Deputy Governor designate Elijah Obebo, the leaders who were led by former East Africa High Court Commissioner Charles Nyachae, said that decisive politics will not help them but will impoverish the community.

“Let us join hands and support our elected leaders to enable us settle down and make wealth to educate our children,” he said.

Reminding that the peoples’ voice is the voice of God, Nyachae asked the community to honour democracy by obeying their democratically elected leaders.

Dennis Mosoti who is Kisii UDA party Youth President said he decided to work with Simba Arati’s because he is a visionary leader with the youths’ love at heart

Mosoti promised to mobilize youths in the county to form self-help groups that will enable them to get government loans to support themselves instead of indulging in drugs and substance abuse.

He appealed to Abagusii elders to crown Cabinet Secretary for Education Ezekiel Machogu the community’s spokesman because he is the most senior man in the government from the region.

His views were opposed by Momanyi and Matoke who accused Machogu of using his influence to appoint his relatives and friends to government positions.
