Kitutu Chache North Member of Parliament Japhet Nyakundi has called on teachers in the constituency to provide clear instructions on career paths to the learners to enable them to remain focused on their lines of specialization based on the choice to do what they enjoy most.

The MP who was speaking when he presided over the presentation of school Buses to Sensi and Nyamasaria Secondary Schools in the constituency affirmed that his NG-CDF office was committed to doing everything to improve the education standards in the constituency.

“I know that education is not accomplished in the classrooms only because students need to travel for fieldwork to update themselves in subjects like Geography, Agriculture, and History.

That is why I decided to buy the buses to ease the students’ mobility during their academic tours and sports.” He said.

The Member of Parliament added that his office will also facilitate schools to put up modern laboratories to enable learners to conduct their practical lessons in the respective areas.

Parents and the community around the schools lauded the legislator and his NG-CDF Committee for giving priority to developing education in the constituency.

Led by Jared Omariba they said education is the cornerstone of any development and promised to work hand in hand with his office in order to take the development of the constituency forward.

Meanwhile, Nyakundi who is also the treasurer of the UDA party, asked the opposition parties to give the government easy time to settle as they focus on recovery of the country’s economy.

“Let our leaders seek to solve their differences through dialogue instead of tiring our nation apart because we have no other place we can call home apart from Kenya.” He said

He appealed to the youth to desist from drug abuse and laziness because they are the enemies of progress.

He asked Kisii governor Simba Arati and South Mugirango Member of Parliament (MP) Sylivanus Osoro to shelf their differences and join hands to develop the region stating that their open confrontations portrayed a bad example to the youth who look up to the leaders.
