Gov’t committed to delivering credible exams, Machogu says

By Fredrick Odiero

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has assured Kenyans that the government is committed to monitoring and delivering credible examinations.

Speaking in Kisumu, Machogu said that examination materials have already been sent to appropriate centres where they are in safe custody.

Machogu said that the required government machinery shall be involved in the examination exercise and that there will be no room for exam cheats this time round.

The CS said that his colleagues in the cabinet shall also be involved in the examination monitoring.

On the ongoing debate on where Junior Secondary School will be domiciled, he urged Kenyans to be patient as the Working Party deliberates on all views given by stakeholders during the public participation forums that took part early this month.
