The government has been accused of reducing development funds for administrative Wards in Kisii County.

Led by one Peter Makori, they wondered why the government slashed Ksh38 million down to Ksh28 million in each of the 45 Wards.

They expressed fear that children from poor homes who depend on Ward and bursary funds might not go to school come January 2024.

‘We request Governor Simba Arati to come to our help by suspending this wrong decision,” said Robert Michira.
