Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu has commissioned several development projects in Narok South Sub-County, reaffirming his commitment to delivering on promises made during his campaign.

The projects, launched in Melelo Ward, include sixteen Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centres, new roads, and a hospital aimed at improving access to essential services for residents.

Governor Ntutu said the newly constructed ECDE centres will make education more accessible to young learners and encourage school attendance.

“Early childhood education is the backbone of our education system, and we are committed to improving it for the benefit of future generations,” he said.

Ntutu also highlighted the benefits of improved healthcare infrastructure, noting that residents will no longer need to travel long distances to seek medical services.

“With the opening of this hospital, our people will now access quality medical services closer to home without the burden of travelling far,” he said.

A Level Four hospital was also officially opened and equipped with modern medical equipment worth Ksh13 million. The machines are expected to improve healthcare delivery, particularly for newborns with health complications.
