The government will allocate adequate funds to run the free primary education programme.
This was revealed in a speech read by Principal Secretary for Basic Education Dr. Belio Kipsang on behalf of President Dr. William Ruto during the 18th KEPSHA Annual Conference held at Sheikh Zayed Children Welfare Centre in Mombasa.
The president further disclosed that more classrooms will be constructed in primary schools to enhance effective teaching and learning in Grades one to nine.
“We will also ensure there is 100 percent transition to secondary schools.” He said.
