The former Harambee Stars Coach Francis Kimanzi offered an impactful mentorship session to the young talents at the Kabarak Soccer Academy which hosted the country’s Football Development Director, for a transformative two-day training session aimed at enhancing both technical and tactical football development among young players and their coaches.
Kimanzi, a respected figure in Kenyan football with years of experience at both club and national levels, was accompanied by a team of officials from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).

Together, they led intensive indoor and outdoor sessions designed to align the academy’s training programs with modern football standards and methodologies.
The session, held at the Kabarak University sports grounds, focused on building the capacity of academy coaches, refining player development structures, and promoting age-appropriate training approaches.
The programme also emphasized discipline, teamwork, and mental resilience — key ingredients for nurturing well-rounded footballers.
