Family unable to bury JSS student as elder brother disappears

Nyamira Teaching and Referral Hospital.

A grieving family in Girango village, Nyamira County, is facing a distressing situation following the sudden passing of their son Brian Gesora, a JSS student and the mysterious disappearance of his brother Whycliff Gesora

Reportedly, Brian succumbed to a severe headache just two weeks ago after being rushed to Nyamira Teaching and Referral Hospital.

After making arrangements for his burial, a concerning twist emerged when the elder brother left mysteriously leaving the family in a state of uncertainty.

In accordance with the customs of the Gusii community, the family is unable to lay Brian to rest without the presence of his elder brother.

“We cannot bury the deceased because his brother is not here,” their uncle James Ogeto lamented.

Mr. and Mrs. Evans Gesora, Brian’s parents, are desperately calling on Whycliff, who is said to operate a bodaboda in Kisii town, to return home and support the family in giving the late younger brother, Brian, a proper farewell.
