Ereteti Secondary School receives computers from Ministry of Education

Ereteti Mixed Secondary School from Kajiado County has received 10 computers from Ministry of Education (MoE).

The initiative is part of government plan of promoting ICT  learning in schools and bridging the digital learning gap in Kenya’s education system.

The computers were received during the school’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was attended by parents, students, teachers and other key stakeholders.

The event highlighted the school’s progress and future plans, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration.

The event chief guest Abdulaziz A. Farah, Commissioner at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission outlined the extensive work of the Commission across Kenya, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and national unity amidst Kenyans diversity.

He encouraged students to view success as a continuous journey rather than a final destination, sharing his personal journey from overcoming educational challenges to achieving excellence at top national institutions.

The School Principal, Paul Halake, expressed optimism about the school’s upward trajectory and the positive impact of ongoing collaboration on both performance and infrastructure.

Director of Communication at the Office of the Governor of Kajiado County Paul Tobiko, a pioneer student of the School, inspired students to exceed expectations and strive for greatness.

Board of Management Chairman, Jeremiah Sailoji, also voiced confidence in the school’s future, urging all stakeholders to actively participate in creating a supportive and harmonious environment.

The AGM marked a significant step forward in the collective effort to enhance educational outcomes and community engagement at Ereteti Mixed Secondary School.

The AGM also featured contributions from the KCB Kiserian Branch team who are partnering with the school to plant trees and enhance the Ereteti community’s green spaces.
