Equity embarks on motivational programme, tracks progress of beneficiaries

Equity Bank has embarked on its regular motivational programs that are meant to maintain steadfast monitoring of the students it sponsors in different schools within Nyanza region.

Speaking today during the opening of a three-day motivational programme at Kisii High School, Jackton Onyango, a representative from Equity Bank headquarters, said that Equity Foundation was glad for the strengths it has installed in many learners who would not have made it to where they are presently.

“It’s with great honour that we have made it clear and our dream has come true of the support and the magnitude that equity has managed to brighten their future,” he said, noting that the government has also come in collaboration to enable the bank assist many students.

Onyango told students to mark their targets academically and remain focused towards their potential to achieve what awaits them as they will not only bring forth greatness to the whole of Nyanza region but also Kenya as a republic.

Kisii branch equity Bank manager Robinson Mirieri thanked the learners as he was optimistic that their endurance and effective success in academics with be a great pride to equity as a foundation and urged them to remain focused on the progress they are in.

“We are proud as Equity Foundation that we are here today and continuously celebrating the fruits of what started as a pilot programme but now has become a reality to reckon with in the academic field,” he stated, adding that all schools that their learners join are very cooperative and by extension, offer the dignified efforts to helping these learners.

1,238 Form Three and Form Four students from secondary schools in Homabay, Migori, Nyamira, Kisii and Narok County were present.
