Primary schools which benefitted include; Genga, Rianyapara, Chisaro, Isamwera, Itibo Rianyabaro and Kiabusura.

“Professionals and investors working in urban areas are products of these schools. They need to unite and use their resources to support them,” he noted.

Nyamu noted that while land was shrinking due to high population, education was the only worthy investment to children in order to be empowered with skills and knowledge to improve their lives.

He lauded the community for supporting the Bank’s activities including scholarships under Wings to Fly and Elimu scholarship jointly with the government to aid children from poor families to access education.

The Bank, noted the Director, has partnered with the area Member of Parliament (MP) Dr. Charles Onchoke to support women and youth cooperative societies to enhance marketing of their agricultural produce and increase their earning and living standards.
