The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Rift Valley Regional Director, Adow Bardad has told school heads and teachers to embrace delocalization.
Bardad said delocalization was meant to allow all Kenyan children to get services offered by teachers in all schools within the region.
Speaking while closing the Nandi County Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) Conference held at Kuste Hotel in Nakuru City, Bardad urged the teachers to take delocalization positively and serve in their new postings with integrity.
“Embrace delocalization and serve our children wherever you are posted because the main aim of your employment is to teach our children,” said Bardad.

He further called on school heads to warmly welcome newly posted teachers in their schools.
“Any teachers who have been posted to your school are qualified and are capable of producing good results. Give them the full moral support they need and you will see good results,” he said.
The Director then urged delocalized school heads and teachers with the tendency of reporting to school whenever they feel like to ensure that they adhere to punctuality.
“Absenteeism due to delocalization is not encouraged, all school heads and teachers should ensure they are in school at all official working hours throughout the week,” he added.
All this, he said, was in a bid to improve education levels in their respective schools.
