Efforts by stakeholders of Karung’ang’i Mixed Day Secondary School have started to bear fruits with improved performance in national exam.
The school initiated by local community to provide a learning center for their children, lacks most of vital facilities required for delivery of quality teaching.
The Principal Peter Karanja observed determination, teamwork, sacrifice, focus, and discipline embraced by teachers and students are producing good results.
He said the eight year old school faces a myriad of challenges which hamper effective learning and teaching
However, he added that the institution emerged the most improved secondary school in Maragua sub county, Murang’a County in 2017 KCSE.
The school presented 59 candidates with two managing to score a C+ plus, thus securing admission to university to pursue degree programmes.
