CS Machogu presides over KISE graduation today

The Cabinet Secretary for Education, Ezekiel Machogu, is scheduled to preside over a graduation ceremony at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) today.

KISE holds a pivotal role in the realm of education, being entrusted with several key responsibilities including the training of teachers and other professionals in Special Needs Education.

Additionally, KISE is charged with the crucial tasks of assessing and placing children with special needs and disabilities, as well as the design, production, maintenance, and repair of specialized learning materials, assistive devices, and technologies.

The institute is also committed to conducting research in Special Needs Education and Disabilities.
