The Crystal Asige Foundation in collaboration with the European institute of Luxembourg, has unveiled a fully funded scholarship program targeting 100 persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Kenya.
This bold initiative initiated by Nominated Senator Asige is a seen as a great step towards advancing education accessibility for groups who have been marginalized for a long period in Kenya.
The 13 week virtual program is set to begin on September 1, offering a variety of courses across diverse fields such as; Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber security, Block chain, Business Administration, Hospitality, Education and Leadership.
The purpose of the program is to equip participants with market-ready skills and bridge opportunity gaps and open pathways for employment, innovation and entrepreneurship for PWDs.

To qualify, applicants must be Kenyan citizens, aged 18 years old and above. Hold a valid disability card or certificate issued by the National Council for persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).
They must also have access to a smart device, with reliable internet access and a valid email address. Additionally, a personal aide may be required if applicable.
Applications, including supporting documents, preferred course of study, and contact details should be emailed to info@crystalsige.com by Wednesday July 30 at 5 PM.
