It was pomp and color as pupils displayed their talents during an exhibition at the Aga Khan Primary School in Kisumu.
The jubilant pupils displayed artifacts, drawings, music, martial arts, oral verses, home science, and scouting maneouvers to the amusement of parents and teachers.
Kisumu Central Member of Parliament (MP) Dr. Joshua Oron who is also a parent at the institution lauded the management for organizing the fete.
Dr. Oron that said the gesture shows that the learning institution is in line with the purpose of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
He encouraged other learning institutions within the area to emulate the school, which also has a Junior Secondary School (JSS).
The school head teacher Carey Ouma said the exhibition was meant to show that pupils can also excel in extra-curricular activities.

Since its establishment in the 1950s, Ouma said that the school has developed into a two-streamed primary school catering to children of all creeds, nationalities and races, with a current capacity of 600 students.
