Anglican Church of Kenya diocesan of Makueni Bishop, Rt. Reverend Francis Matui has called upon candidates to walk with discipline even after exams alluding that this is just the start of their academic journey.

He reminded them that they should celebrate but take care of themselves over the holidays knowing very well they are heading to grade 10 come next year.

Speaking during the prayer day, Matui also called upon parents to play their roles fully by being parents since many are too committed to their jobs forgetting that the young ones need them for mentoring, binding and social bonding.

Not forgetting the school head Onesmus Wambua, he applauded him for the good work he has been doing adding that ‘wewe sio wale wa mgeni akisifiwa tembo hulitia maji,’ meaning they have applauded the headteacher for some time and he has continued producing the best results since he came to the school.
