Applicants are required to present valid documentation and proof of residency during the vetting process.

There was a strong turnout of parents and students, reflecting the high demand for education support amid rising school-related costs.

Community leaders and NG-CDF officials supervised the exercise to enhance transparency and fairness.

According to the Chepalungu NG-CDF office, the list of successful beneficiaries will be published for public scrutiny, after which bursary cheques will be sent directly to schools and institutions, not individuals, to promote accountability.

The bursary programme remains a key pillar of the constituency’s efforts to promote access to education and reduce dropout rates across Chepalungu.
