Residents of Njoro Sub- County, Nakuru County have a reason to smile after President William Ruto donated three buses to three schools in the area which will be used for the institutions academic activities.
The three schools which includes; Darugu Primary School, Gwataniru Secondary School and Migito Excel Secondary School each received a school bus branded with the name of the institutions courtesy of the President on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Speaking while he was handing over the keys of the buses to the head teachers, President Ruto encourages the school heads to ensure all buses are used only for education purpose.

The President said the buses are very important to educational institutions and it is the main reason why he donated them to those three schools.
“I urge students to fully concentrate on their academic to ensure that they get good results that will better their future,” Ruto said.
At the same time, the Deputy Presidents Rigathi Gachagua who accompanied the President to Njoro, urged the secondary school and primary schools learners to respect their parents and teachers and fully concentrate on their education.
“Parents greatly invest in your education hence you should get good results that will make the parents to be happy and encourage them to continue investing in your education,” he said.

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika on her part, urged students especially girls to avoid behaviours that will make them drop out of school.
Kihika said further revealed that the County Government of Nakuru has been disbursing bursaries to various students in secondary schools and it their hope that the learners post good grades.
“We encourage students in Nakuru County to shine academically in both primary, and secondary schools so as to motivate parents and other stakeholders who invest heavily on the studies of these students,” she said.
