Caring Hearts Schools celebrates top KCSE  performers in annual prize‑giving ceremony

Caring Hearts Boys and Girls High Schools in Kangundo and Matungulu Sub‑counties have celebrated their best KCSE performers at an annual prize‑giving ceremony themed “Celebration of Excellence,” awarding laptops and cash to outstanding students in recognition of dedication and hard work.

Addressing parents during the event, Caring Hearts Boys Principal Gabriel Kimetu said the awards are designed to motivate high achievers and inspire other students to raise their academic effort. He noted that the ceremony serves as a benchmark for excellence and a reminder that consistent study and discipline yield results.

“Our school director, Dr. Vincent Kituku, believes in recognising students who work hard and have done well in exams every year by rewarding them,” Mr. Kimetu said, adding that the incentives are part of a broader culture of merit and accountability at the institution.

The schools reported strong KCSE outcomes, with Caring Hearts Boys posting two Grade A, seven A‑, 12 B+, 23 B, 30 B‑, 16 C+, and five C. Caring Hearts Girls recorded two Grade A, seven A‑, 12 B+, 23 B, 30 B‑, 16 C+, and five C. Mr. Kimetu said the Class of 2025, both boys and girls, “did us proud because they passed well and all of them will be joining universities,” underscoring the schools’ consistent performance and transition to higher education.

Speaking at the ceremony, Caring Hearts Girls Principal Ms. Ann Katuku urged students to stay focused and work hard to achieve their dreams, emphasizing that the awards are not only a celebration of success but also a call to sustained effort. She highlighted the importance of resilience, mentorship, and a supportive learning environment in shaping academic outcomes.

The schools’ director, Dr. Kituku, has for years sponsored needy students to various institutions, reinforcing access to quality education for vulnerable families.

Caring Hearts has built a reputation for producing some of the country’s top male and female scholars, a track record the administration attributes to rigorous teaching, targeted support, and a strong emphasis on values.
