Candidates assured of security during national examinations

Kisii County Commissioner Tom Anjere addressing the press.

Kisii County Commissioner Tom Anjere has assured secondary and primary school candidates for this year’s national exams of maximum security during the period.

He said that his office in conjunction with the local education office has laid strategies that will see that both KCSE and KCPE examinations start and end smoothly.

“Our office has done its part of providing security to our children during and after the examination period,” he said.

The officer who was accompanied by County Director of Education Philip Chirchir asked candidates to conduct themselves and focus on the achievement of their set goals.

He thanked the education officers from the sub-counties in the region for their readiness to create an enabling examination atmosphere, reminding them that candidates remain the property of an institution until they are cleared after examinations.
