Butere Primary gets a facelift as CDF puts up new classrooms

Butere Primary School in Kakamega County has been given a facelift following the construction of eight brand new classrooms courtesy of National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).

The area Member of Parliament Hon. Tindi Mwale while officially opening and handing over the classrooms to the school management said in the same breadth his office had plans under way to put up classrooms of the same nature in more than ten schools across the constituency in a short span of time.

“My constituency management board has identified more schools with shortage of infrastructure facilities and we are set to continue addressing them one by one. We have earmarked several schools which lack important facilities especially classrooms and we have embarked on construction of additional classrooms in over ten schools in the constituency.” He said

The legislator further revealed that he has so far bought and given out three buses to various secondary school and two more Buses are under clearance which he intends give to out soon.

Schools that have so far benefited in the current Bus program are Buchenya Girls Secondary School, Inaya secondary and Manyala Secondary School and those next on the list are Eshithwithwi Secondary School and Shikunga Secondary School.
