Bondo branch Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Executive Secretary Ndolo Owuor has passed on this morning after battling with illness.
The Bondo KNUT boss was admitted at the Siaya County Referral after falling ill and was at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he breathed his last.
Ndolo who is also the Siaya County KNUT chairman has been on the frontline in recent days campaigning for Collins Oyuu and his team for the coveted position of the union Secretary General.
Education News has reports that most teachers who attended a recent KNUT meeting at a Siaya Primary School have complained of feeling unwell in what is believed to be a possible case of Covid-19 related infections.
The body of the deceased KNUT leader is currently lying at the Siaya County Referral Hospital Mortuary as burial arrangements are being made in line with the Covid -19 regulations.
