The Konoin Technical Training Institute (KOTTI) Volleyball Ladies team from Bomet County has once again stamped its authority on the court after booking a slot at the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI) National Ball Games, set to be held at Coast National Polytechnic.
This marks their second consecutive qualification to the national championship, a proud moment for the institution and the entire Bomet County.
The determined ladies displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and resilience throughout the Rift Valley Regional qualifiers, which brought together top technical colleges from across the region.
In the tensed final match, KOTTI faced off against host Kaiboi National Polytechnic in a thrilling encounter that kept spectators cheering from start to finish.
The team lost a 3-0 straight-set win (25–22, 25–23 & 27–25).
The victory for Kaiboi secured them the first-place position, while Konoin Ladies finished second after an impressive performance that highlighted the depth of volleyball talent in the region.

Earlier, the Konoin girls had overcome a strong challenge from Kericho National Polytechnic in the semifinals, a match that tested their endurance and unity.
Their resilience and teamwork propelled them to the finals, where they sealed their place at the nationals in emphatic fashion.
The team management praised the players for their discipline and fighting spirit.
“Our girls have shown that consistency, teamwork, and determination are the true ingredients of success. We are proud to represent Konoin and the entire South Rift region at the national stage,” he said.
The KATTI National Ball Games, which bring together technical institutions from across Kenya, will take place later this month at the Coast National Polytechnic, with the best teams competing for national glory.
