A youthful leader from Bomet, Bildad Cheruiyot, popularly known as Matuburiat, has stepped in to support candidates at Chepngaina Primary School in Silibwet Township Ward, Bomet Central, with a donation of rice to keep them nourished and focused as they prepare for national exams.
Cheruiyot said the gesture was meant to motivate learners ahead of their KPSEA and KJSEA exams, emphasizing that good nutrition plays a key role in boosting concentration and confidence during examinations.
“Proper nutrition plays a vital role in the success of our candidates, especially during this crucial exam period. When learners have access to meals at school, they can concentrate better, stay energized, and perform to their full potential,” he said.
He added that his gesture was part of his continued commitment to promoting education and uplifting learning standards across Silibwet Township Ward, stressing that investment in children is the surest path to a self-reliant and prosperous community.
