A middle aged man who defiled a Form 3 girl in Manjililiet village, Ngainet sub-location in Bomet county will be arraigned in Court today.
The man, Thomas Josphat Rono, was arrested and detained at Ndaraweta Police Station after he was found pants down with the school girl in his house.
The student was reportedly heading home for half-term break when the suspect pounced and eloped with her to his residence.
Rono allegedly took advantage of his wife’s absence, who is admitted at Tenwek Mission Hospital awaiting delivery.
While confirming the incident, Bomet Central Police Commandant Musa Imamai said his team swung into action immediately he was notified of the incidence by the area Assistant Chief.
