Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Makueni Diocese Bishop Francis Matui leads the prayer day at Marwa Primary School

Bishop Francis Matui of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), Diocese of Makueni, has extended his full support and encouragement to candidates awaiting their national exams, including KPSEA, KCPE, and KCSE.

Speaking during a prayer day for KCPE candidates at Marwa Primary School in Mukaa subcounty, in the region, the Bishop emphasized the importance of preparedness and the need for a supportive environment.

Bishop Matui called upon parents, guardians, teachers, and the church to provide the candidates with the necessary support to create a conducive atmosphere for optimal performance.

He stressed that education is the key to uplifting and transforming lives, urging all stakeholders to rally behind the candidates.

In addition, the Bishop urged parents to ensure that candidates have proper nourishment as they undertake their exams.

He further appealed to the residents of Kimakiu Ward to consider enrolling their children at Marwa Technical, an institution with a long history but lacking sufficient student enrollment, despite the potential for the skills acquired there to lead to self-employment.

The Head teacher David Ole Tukeyei expressed confidence in the school’s preparations for the national exams, citing early syllabus coverage, diligent revision, and the hardworking nature of the candidates.

He also commended the harmonious relationship between parents and teachers, which has facilitated the efficient operation of the school and thorough exam preparation.
