Baringo Woman Representative Florence Jematia has distributed bursary funds amounting to Ksh250,000 to 25 students from Ossen Girls High and Pemwai High.
Speaking on Sunday during a tour to encourage and wish success to candidates in the forthcoming KCSE examinations, Jematia reiterated her commitment to supporting needy children with bursaries across the county.
“My office targets to assist vulnerable and orphan students to access education without favouritism,” she noted.
During her visit, the Woman Rep also distributed sanitary towels and toiletries to the students.
