Avoid shoddy work, MP cautions contractors

Kanduyi Constituency Member of Parliament, Mr Wafula Wamunyinyi has said no contractor would be awarded any tender in schools if they have a poor construction work track record.
He urged contractors to put quality classrooms in all public schools.
Speaking to Education News at St Bethsda Girls High School, Wamunyinyi added that no tenderer would be paid for any shoddy work done at public schools especially secondary schools in his constituency.
He urged all head teachers and principals to be good project managers of any projects sponsored by the National Government-Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF)
Wamunyinyi applauded teachers for their good work to ensure that students excel in KCPE and KCSE exams. He was accompanied by the Kanduyi CDF Chairman, Mr Christopher Kalabai who said that his office is keen to ensure quality education standards in the area.
