The annual Kenya schools and colleges music festival will be held in September after a two years break occasioned by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Festivals will start in September 17, 2022 and end in September 23, 2022 with Gala being in September 23, 2022.
The participants will be expected to report at Maseno University which will host the National Championships in September 16, 2022 with State Concert being held in September 24, 2022 at Kisumu State Lodge.
The festival will be held in Kisumu city and the best participants from regional levels will compete for the first position.
Since its announcement, students in music clubs in various institutions embarked on training ahead of the competitions.
