Analysis of top 2022 KCSE secondary schools in Nyandarua

Nyandarua County has proven to be a powerhouse in matters education.

In a list seen by Education News, out of the 17 top secondary schools from the county, public schools had the most schools – 11 schools.

Kisima Mixed, a private school led by posting a mean score of 9.167 with a population of 36 learners who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

Nyandarua High came second with a mean score of 8.551 with 167 candidates, Karima took position three having posted a mean of 8.463 with 352 candidates.

Graceland Boys and Njabini Boys took position four and five respectively having a mean score of 7.600 with 55 learners and 7.594 out of 187 learners respectively.

In the list, St. Paul Amani Boys was the most improved school with a mean score of 5.872 recording a positive deviation of 0.938 compared to the 2021 KCSE performance.
